Where Excellence is a Habit

The idea of Excellence as a habit motivating human behaviour is derived from the ideas of the Greek philosopher Aristotle who in his book Nicomachean Ethics defined human success and happiness as linked to consistency in excellence “for as it is not one swallow or one fine day that makes a spring, so it is not one day or a short time that makes a man blessed and happy.” The concept of excellence was to the Greeks Arete (ἀρετή) which means to succeed in purpose or function and living up to your full potential.

The Goldcrest International Motto is our commitment to instilling excellence as a habit in our students, leading them to lifelong success and making them blessed and happy.
