Goldcrest International understands that the environment contributes to the overall experience and learning of the student.  With this belief, it has created a modern, bright, purpose-built facility covering two floors with a capacity to accommodate 160 students. The whole campus is Wi-Fi connected to facilitate students to work and research in all rooms and spaces. Further, the entire campus is air conditioned providing students with a temperature controlled comfortable environment. The classrooms are spacious with interactive boards which form a stimulating backdrop for the classroom and greatly help in the learning process.

LIBRARY

The Goldcrest International Media Centre has a library with separate Computer and Language laboratories. The computers in this area are networked and connected to high speed Internet through broadband and  Wi-Fi for students to use laptops and tablets. The Library is well stocked and has the capacity for 9000 books.

CAFETERIA

Goldcrest International Cafeteria is designed in such a way that students can gather to eat snacks or light meals (vegetarian). Students may bring their own snacks and lunches and reheat in the public microwave oven, if necessary, or they may subscribe to the cafeteria meals available at a concession. Upper school students may also order lunch from local eateries.  

LABORATORIES

Goldcrest International has embarked on a path to excellence and innovation in learning by building three state-of-the-art Science Laboratories to enable students to explore the sciences through experimentation, research and activities.

ART ROOM

Visual Arts fosters the continual process of development, exploration and experimentation which is very important in personal growth and potential. The Art Room at Goldcrest International is equipped to promote artistic talent, creativity and expression with space for practical studio work.

STUDENT COMMON SPACE

Students have the privilege of designated common spaces in the school for use in their non-contact periods, to give them the space to relax and work on their studies.

 

PLAYING FIELD

The school has use of a large playground which can be used by the students for Athletics, Football, Cricket and Hockey.

INDOOR GAMES

The school provides space for table-tennis, pool table, air hockey and chess for the enhancement and promotion of students’ physical and recreational well-being.

ACTIVITIES

School activities include yearbook, music, drama and PE. Extracurricular activities include Student Council, MUN, a culture club and sports.

 

VISITS AND EXCURSIONS

Visits and excursions are an important aspect of the learning experience. Goldcrest International organizes day and overnight excursions as well as longer excursions. Visits and excursions are meant to enhance to school program and many of these excursions are an aspect of the schools Maharashtra Rural Outreach Program (which is a schoolwide CAS based initiative).

 

CAREER COUNSELLING AT GOLDCREST INTERNATIONAL

University admission is a primary concern for our Diploma Programme students and their parents as well as our school. To ensure guidance in this process, Goldcrest International has in place Counselors to guide and advise students regarding post-secondary education both in India and abroad. This includes assistance in preparing for US SAT exams, writing University Entrance Exams and admissions essays, as well as assistance with forms, procedures, recommendations etc. Goldcrest International is also an authorized PSAT testing center for students wishing to attend US universities. Career support is also given through career events with university representatives and experts in leading and diverse fields opening young minds to the world of 21st century careers and study. Also Goldcrest International utilizes the Naviance line system to facilitate university choices and to streamline the university admission process.

Goldcrest International's philosophy is the guiding directive for the Goldcrest International staff, which is committed to bringing learning out of the text book and into the minds and experiences of the student. All staff at Goldcrest International are qualified and trained by the IBO and Cambridge in their subjects and many have prior international experience.
